TERMS AND CONDITION

  1. Our Agreement
  2. All bookings are made with TGZ Turizm Org Dan. LTD ŞTI as accredited Travel Agency by TURSAB (Turkey Travel Agencies Association) and Tourism Ministry of Turkish Government under the name of PEACE TRAVEL SERVICE. The following booking conditions form the basis of your contract with TGZ Tourism Org, Consultancy Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our” or with our second name PEACE TRAVEL SERVICE).
  3. Please read all details carefully as they set out our respective rights and obligations. By asking us to confirm your tour booking, we are entitled to assume that you have read these booking conditions and agree to all written details The person who submitting the booking form that she/he has fully authority to do booking on behalf of all persons whose names written on the booking form and confirms that everyone are fully aware of and understand these terms and conditions. Therefore we confirm your booking on this basis.
  4. A “Guest” (You) is the person named on the booking form planning to travel with Peace Travel Service.
  5. A “Product” is any travel service sold by PEACE TRAVEL SERVICE
  6. An agreement between you and PEACE TRAVEL SERVICE comes into existence when we have confirmed the booking in writting and issued a confirmation.
  7. Any agreement between you and PEACE TRAVEL SERVICE is governed by Turkish law and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Turkish Government courts should any dispute arise between parties to this agreement.
  8. We reserve the right to decline any booking at our discretion without further explanation.
  1. Booking and Payment Details
  2. To book one of our tours please follow the procedure shown on our website by using our online booking form or ask for an offline application form. The relevant application form has to be completed by each person attending tour and signed. If you are under 18, this application form has to be signed by your parent or guardian. Completed booking form must be sent to us together with payment receipt, copy of your passport ID.
  3. If you do online booking, application form will navigate you through payment by credit card. When we receive all details about you and payment, we confirm your booking and send the invoice via email.
  4. If you ask for offline application form, you can do your payment via Wire transfer, Bank Deposit, Online Payment Gateway or mail order. When your transfer has been done, please e-mail us for a confirmation mail with your payment details. So we can confirm your booking efficiently.
  5. If you do only pre-booking for package tours which will depart in more than 3 months, you will have 7 days to do your down payment. When you do down payment minimum %25 of total price, your booking will be confirmed officially. For package tours which will departs less than 3 months; you will be asked to pay min %50 of tour price as down payment and rest of bill has to be paid 1 month prior to departure date. Bookings made within 4 weeks require immediate full payment.
  6. For any reason, If the balance is not received by due date, Peace Travel Service reserve the right to treat the booking as cancelled by you. It is going to be reminded to you a few days before via e-mail. If you changed your mind and cancel the trip, you must pay the cancellation charges shown in paragraph 7 depending on the date we reasonably treat your booking as cancelled.
  7. The price quoted for any group tour includes the details written in itinerary, except for the following which you must be responsible: vaccination fees, cost of travel from and to the start/return point of your tour including your international flights, passport and visa fees, personal expenses, travel insurance and any other expenses specifically excluded on tour itinerary and /or invoice.
  8. We have rights to change and correct errors in quoted prices at any time before we confirm your package tour. Once the price of tour you want to book has been confirmed and then subject to the correction of errors, we may only increase or decrease the price in the tour of any change of transportation costs or in dues, taxes, or fees in exchange rates which have been used to calculate the cost of tour.
  9. A refund (as applicable) or surcharge will be payable, exposed to the conditions set out in this paragraph. Even in the above conditions; if the amount of any increase in our costs exceeds %2 of the total cost we ask for a surcharge. If any surcharge is more than %10 of your tour cost, you will have rights to cancel your tour and receive a full refund of all money you paid us or purchase another trip from us alternatively.
  10. Travel Insurance
  11. We provide travel insurance which will be included to package tour price. All official travel agencies have to insure tour attendees in package tours as the laws of Tourism and Travel in Turkey. This travel insurance includes refund payment if travel agency does not do promises written on tour itinerary. Also it covers accidents, injuries at the places which is included the tour itinerary. Please ask for details!
  12. It covers you after starting package tour with PEACE TRAVEL SERVICE and ends at the return point which is written in tour itinerary.
  13. When you travel to Turkey; if you will be travelling against the FCO Advise and your health insurance does not cover you in Turkey, please inform us. And then we can insure you to cover all your needs while travelling in Turkey with reasonable prices.
  14. Health
  15. You must be taken to confirm at the time of booking that you are in good health , physically capable of undertaking part, taking into account its challenges and purposes except as disclosed in your medical questionnaire. If you are not able to give this confirmation to us or have any disability or medical condition which can affect your tour, you have to contact us before you book our tour. So we can assist you in considering the suitability of tour for you.
  16. If any information given in the booking form is shown incorrect or incomplete, we reserve the right to terminate your attending to package tour, or cancel your booking depending on when we are aware of true position. In this position, we apply all cancellation policies and will not be responsible for any costs or expenses incurred as a result.
  17. Guest has to inform us about all details of food preferences, allergic conditions, etc. while booking tour. For the information given after the tour departs, can be late for food preferences.
  18. Cancellation and Changes
  19. If you decide to cancel booking, you must notify by letter or e-mail as soon as possible. In the event of cancellation of package tour service due to any unavoidable or avoidable reasons, we have to be notified of the same in writing. Cancellation charges will be effective from the date we receive in writing and cancellation charges will be as written below:

45 days prior to departure: 25% of tour price

30-45 days to departure: 50% of tour price

15-30 days to departure: 75% of tour price

15 days to departure: %100 of tour price

Any time after booking: 50USD as service cost

  1. Guest may transfer her/his place to someone who is introduced by guest if there is more than 2 weeks to departure. Then we may have enough time to practically of changing certain bookings made in guest’s name.
  2. The itinerary is a program to be followed and promised to be done. But it may be necessary to alter, change, or cancel some parts because of force majeure such as weather conditions, government decisions, road conditions which are out of our control. Peace Travel Service is not responsible for these changes in itinerary. Tour Guide of the group has rights to swap or change the places where to visit first up on traffic, crowd, and weather conditions.
  3. Changes and Cancelation by Peace Travel Service
  4. As mentioned above, we may have to change the itinerary and correct errors in advertised and confirmed itinerary. Even we reserve our rights to cancel even confirmed bookings, when we cannot catch minimum number of participants or because of force majeure. If minimum number of bookings required for each tour has not been received, we reserve rights to cancel it. We notify you of cancellation for this reason no less than3 weeks prior time to departure.
  5. If we have to make certain changes or cancel, we inform you as soon as possible. If there is time to do before departure, we offer you a few options to decide: -Accepting the changed arrangements and refund money

-Purchasing an alternative tour from us which is similar with canceled tour. We offer you at least one tour of equivalent or higher standard for which you will not be asked to pay any more than the price of original tour.

  1. If we have to cancel tour or make a significant change we pay you the reasonable compensation depending on circumstances and when cancellation or significant change is notified to you, subject the following exceptions. Compensation is not payable and no liability beyond offering the above mentioned options can be accepted where:
  • We have to cancel or make a change as a result of unforeseeable and unusual circumstances beyond our control such as force majeure which we cannot avoid even with all due care
  • We have to cancel because the minimum number of bookings necessary to operate your tour has not been reached.
  • We cancel as a result of your result of your failure to comply with any requirement of these booking conditions entitling us to cancel (such as paying on time), no compensation will be payable and above options will not be available.
  • We may be forced by force majeure to change or terminate your tour after departure very rarely. If this situation occurs, we regret we are unable to make any refunds, pay you any compensation or meet any costs or expenses you incur as a result.
  1. Force Majeure means which happens as weather conditions, war, riot violence, etc outside our control. We regret we can’t accept liability or pay any compensation where prompt performance or performance of our obligations under our agreement with guest is prevented or affected by or otherwise you suffer any damage, loss or expense of any nature as a result of force majeure.
  2. Our Liability to our guest
  3. Peace Travel Service promise to make sure that tour organizations we have agreed to make, provide or perform as applicable as part of our contract with you are going to be made, provided, or performed with reasonable skill and care. It means that, we accept all our responsibility which subjects to these booking conditions. For example, you are going to be fully insured when you suffer death or personal injury or contracted tour organizations are not provided as promised as a result of failure ourselves, our employees to use reasonable skill and care in providing, as applicable your contracted tour arrangements.
  4. It is our guest’s responsibility to show that reasonable skill and care has not been performed if you wish to make a claim against us. We are only responsible for what our employees, agents, suppliers do or do not do, if they were at the time performing within the course of their employment or carrying out work we had asked them to do.
  5. We are not going to be responsible for any injury, illness, death, loss(including loss of enjoyment and possessions), damage, expense, cost or other sum of any description whatsoever which results from any of following issues:
  • Guest’s act(s) or/and omission(s)
  • Third party’s act(s) or/and omission(s) who is not connected with the provision of your tour and that were unavoidable and unforeseeable
  • Force Majeure
  • Any services which do not form as part of our contract. This includes any additional service which any supplier, or tour guide of the tour agrees to provide or arrange for you where we have not agreed to provide or arrange these services as part of our agreement. As a summary, if it is not written in itinerary or given ass optional tour or extra tour during your trip, we are not responsible from these activities. If It is directly booked from our company even as extra tour(such as balloon tour in Cappadocia), we can insure you for any accidents, injuries.
  1. In any advertising material or regardless of any wording used by Peace Travel Service on our website, we promise only to use reasonable skill and care as written above and unfortunately, we do not have any greater or different liability for our guest. Many of tours are provided by PEACE TRAVEL SERVICE, regional companies, suppliers such as hired buses or domestic flight companies.
  2. We promise you about service we have agreed to arrange or provide as part of our agreement -and the laws and regulations of Turkey where your claim occurred- is going to be used as basis for deciding if the services in question had been properly provided.
  3. We are not responsible and insurance does not cover for loss of your expensive stuff such as money, jewelry, dress, camera, cloth, luggage etc. Even, If it occurs during using domestic flights which is a part of itinerary, Flight company is responsible from loss or damage of your luggage.
  4. We are not responsible and insurance does not cover, If our guest lives any health problem during tour because of ongoing disease which he/she has already have it such as heart problems, asthma, hypertension. Also Our guest has to inform us about all medical details and has to bring a signed letter from doctor to travel comfortably.
  5. Any people who have contagious disease cannot attend tour for the health of other people in the group. If He/she didn’t inform us during booking tour and it has been realized that, this person has to leave the group immediately and will be facing with the juridical penalty.

In addition, she/he cannot have any refund or liability.

  1. Delays, Behavior, Damage and Complaints
  2. Delays: Unfortunately, we are not in a position to offer our guest any assistance, when flight delays occur at your international or domestic flights departure. This must be the responsibility of airline. Please remember that is your own responsibility to be sure you arrive at the departure point by yourself/selves on time. When we welcome our guests at the cruise port, or airport or any meeting point; rarely, we may get late 5-15minutes because of heavy traffic in the city. At this moment, our guest has to call us written on booking ticket and wait for us at the meeting point. If our guest leaves the meeting point without any call, he/she/ will lose all liabilities from us.
  3. Decisions of PEACE TRAVEL SERVICE: While the tour is in progress, all decisions are made by PEACE TRAVEL SERVICE management or staff employed by us such as tour guides. Our Guides or tour leader have rights to swap the days and places where to visit. But They do not have any rights to take group any extra places which is not written in itinerary.
  4. Behaviors: While the tour is in progress, Guest must act in accordance with all reasonable instructions he/she is given. Tour guide or other member of our staff or staff employed by our regional companies may withdraw you from tour anytime if they are in the reasonable opinion that
  • your continued presence is likely to prejudice the good order, discipline, safety or successful operation of the trip or well-being of any individual participant(s)
  • You are rude to tour guide, driver or any staff employed by us or any individual participant(s) with hate speech about nations, believes, people, life style, culture by mispricing and offensive behaviors.
  • If you break any laws and social life of local people in Turkey where the trip takes place.

We expect all our guests to have consideration for other people. If in our or any other person reasonable opinion of authority, you act in such a way as to cause danger, upset, or distress to our staff or to any third party or damage to property, seats, any place in the bus, we are entitled to terminate your trip without any prior notice. Any refunds is not going to be paid guest and any expenses or costs incurred as a result of withdrawal. In addition, guest has to indemnify us against any loss or expense that may be incurred as a result of actions mentioned above.

  1. Complaints: If our guest has any reason to complain or experience any problems with his/her tour whilst away, guest has to inform tour guide or us immediately. All details have to be written as a letter to inform us as soon as possible. If it is not resolved by tour guide as soon as possible you must contact us for your satisfaction. Most problems must be dealt quickly. We cannot know and resolve problems until we are informed about it. For all complaints. Guest has to inform us as soon as possible. If guest keeps silence and continue tour, it means guest accepted all tour without any problem. So, when guest complain after tour ends, we regret we cannot accept any liabilities.
  2. Tour Guides and Tourism Vehicles: According to laws and Regulations in Turkey, A Tourism vehicle (car, minivan, minibus, midi-bus, bus) which has D2 Authorization to carry people in Tourism standards. If the vehicle does not have this legal paper, it is going to cause big legal problems while traveling especially during police controls. The driver is going to be questioned about people’s name etc. So it has to be licensed vehicles which we use as PEACE TRAVEL SERVICE.

Also This Tourism Vehicle has to have a licensed tour guide who has been authorized by Tourism Ministry. It is illegal to travel as a tourist without these licenses. In Addition, We have highly experienced professional tour guides who speak fluent English, and can give deep information about history, culture, and archeology of the places. Our staff as our Tour Guides is tasked to give good information, with smiling face in a friendly manner. But they are not tasked to carry any luggage, bag or serve drinks, food anywhere. Our tour guides has to give all details and focus only the guests during tour.

  1. Accommodation:
  2. Accommodation used for package tours is based on single/twin/double/triple share rooms. All details about stars of hotel, location, room type, type of hotel, accommodation type (as BB/HB/FB) have to be all written in itinerary. If we have to change the hotel, we inform you as soon as possible.
  3. Special Requests such as bed types, smoking preference or connecting rooms are subject to availability.
  4. If you want to book triple room, the third bed may be a “fold-away” bed. Some hotels can afford only fold-away beds because of not having triple rooms. So please note that which type of beds you are going to have. If hotel does not have any triple room, we are not liable to provide triple room. Therefore, hotel can provide only a fold-away bed and no compensation is payable to you in any such instance.
  5. Sometimes, Single rooms may be smaller than a double room.
  6. Passport and Visa Requirements
  7. We do not offer any passport and visa requirements for our tours in Turkey. Please check the link http://www.mfa.gov.tr/visa-information-for-foreigners.en.mfa which is official website of Foreign Affairs Ministry of Turkey up to date position in good time before departure. Turkish Government gives the opportunity to Western Countries citizens to have visa at the custom gate. But we advise all our guests to have it before flying to Turkey.
  8. Our Guest has to ensure she/he is in possession of all necessary travel and health documents before departure. PEACE TRAVEL SERVICE cannot accept any liablity, if our guest is refused entry onto any transport or into country due to failure on your part to carry all required documentation.
  9. Our Website: The information written in our website and other advertising material, social media is believed correct to the best of our knowledge at the time of publication. But when you book the tour, tour itinerary which is sent via e-mail in pdf file will be official document as tour itinerary. Therefore, you must ensure you check all details of your booked tour (including the price) with us at the time of booking.
  10. Quality and Service: PEACE TRAVEL SERVICE is the member of TURSAB (Association of Travel Agencies in Turkey) with 9802 membership number and authorized as official Travel Agency by Tourism Ministry of Turkey. We adhere to the high values of quality and service. In addition we promise to our guest to provide service what we wrote and signed.
  11. Personal Data

All Data belonged to our guest is protected in accordance with “Protection of personal data” laws. By making a booking with us or even mailing us, you are going to be connected with us. But your personal data is not going to be shared with someone who is not from our company. We keep mailing you when we update our tour itineraries. If you do not want to be emailed by us, you inform us not be mailed. So your data will be taken to black list and destroyed as soon as possible not to mail you again.
